The application period for 2007 is now closed and will open for applications in the summer of 2008.

Laws passed by the 2007 Nevada State Legislature include considerable changes to the solar program in Nevada. For example, SolarGenerations™ is now a permanent program intended to allow more Nevadans to take advantage of the incentive offered to install solar (photovoltaic) on residences, small businesses, schools, or public buildings. Currently, the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada (PUCN) is developing the regulations to govern the new program. It is not anticipated there will be significant changes to the program.

However, until the new regulations are adopted, incentive levels and other program rules are subject to change. Customers who have applied will receive timely information on any changes made to the program, including rebate levels along with their written notice of approval.

We encourage you to apply for and participate in the SolarGenerations™ program and appreciate your understanding as we move from a solar demonstration program to a permanent solar program that will provide Nevada with one of the best solar incentive programs in the country.
